New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 4: Glade Fisheries at 25-29 Taunton Lane, Coulsdon; rated on October 25

• Rated 4: Peking Inn at 122 Headley Drive, Croydon; rated on October 25

• Rated 3: Desperados at 109 Brighton Road, Coulsdon; rated on October 25

It means that of Croydon's 330 similar establishments with ratings, 164 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
