New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafe Tresor, at 12 Selsdon Road, South Croydon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 21.

And Galito's Piri Piri, at 10 South End, Croydon was also given a score of four on October 21.

It means that of Croydon's 581 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 401 (69%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
