New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lo Zafferano, at 117 Brighton Road, Coulsdon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 21.

And Kaspa's Desserts Norbury, at 1465 - 1465a London Road, Norbury, London was given a score of four on October 16.

It means that of Croydon's 582 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 402 (69%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
