A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Codfather, a takeaway at 206 London Road, Croydon was given the minimum score after assessment on October 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 332 takeaways with ratings, 164 (49%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
