A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

First Choice, a takeaway at 147 Bensham Manor Road, Thornton Heath was given the score after assessment on August 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 341 takeaways with ratings, 172 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
