A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mitcham Kitchen Caribbean Take Away, a takeaway at 226 Mitcham Road, Croydon was given the score after assessment on June 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 343 takeaways with ratings, 166 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
