A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

SP Charcoal Grill, a takeaway at 261a Brighton Road, South Croydon was given the score after assessment on April 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 334 takeaways with ratings, 157 (47%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
