A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Thela / Whipped, a takeaway at Unit 8, Boxpark Croydon, 99 George Street, Croydon was given the score after assessment on September 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 343 takeaways with ratings, 172 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
