A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Taya Sushi, a takeaway at 86 Brighton Road, Purley was given the score after assessment on May 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 336 takeaways with ratings, 160 (48%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
