A Croydon takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Spices, a takeaway at 280 Wickham Road, Croydon was given the score after assessment on April 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 288 takeaways with ratings, 115 (40%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
