A Croydon restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Valley Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 6 Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon was given the score after assessment on October 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 582 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 401 (69%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
