A Croydon restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Taste Of Bengal, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 1 Station Parade, Sanderstead Road, South Croydon was given the score after assessment on December 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 674 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 421 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
