A Croydon restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Chartwells At Electric House, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Electric House, 3 Wellesley Road, Croydon was given the maximum score after assessment on June 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 712 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 426 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
