A Croydon restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Old Coulsdon Bowling Club, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Old Coulsdon Bowling And Social Club, 81 Coulsdon Road, Coulsdon was given the maximum score after assessment on November 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 582 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 402 (69%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
