Good news as food hygiene ratings given to two City of London takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Le Pain Quotidien, at 42 Fish Street Hill, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 23.

And Garbanzos Falafel & Hummus Bar, at 27-29 Eastcheap, London was also given a score of five on January 12.

It means that of City of London's 289 takeaways with ratings, 242 (84%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
