New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of City of London’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Gaucho City at 1 Bell Inn Yard, London; rated on November 30

• Rated 5: 14 Hills at 120 Fenchurch Street, London; rated on November 29

• Rated 5: Dom's Subs at 8 Ludgate Circus, London; rated on November 23

• Rated 5: The Wolseley City at Retail Unit, 68 King William Street, London; rated on September 26

It means that of City of London's 757 similar establishments with ratings, 637 (84%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
