Good news as food hygiene ratings given to 10 City of London establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of City of London’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Temper at 1b Angel Court, London; rated on September 26

• Rated 5: CH&Co, Charles Russel LLP at 5 Fleet Place, London; rated on September 25

• Rated 5: Mber at 1a Pudding Lane, London; rated on September 21

• Rated 5: Street Greek at 18 Old Bailey, London; rated on September 19

• Rated 5: Elior, Bank Of England at 20 Moorgate, London; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: Chinese Cricket Club At Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars at Blackfriars House, 19 New Bridge Street, London; rated on September 14

• Rated 5: The Clays at 55 Moorgate, London; rated on September 14

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
