Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 10 City of London establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of City of London’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Caffe Nero - Nero Express at Mobile Unit 11 Lower Concourse, Liverpool Street Station, Liverpool Street, London; rated on November 9

• Rated 5: Twentyfour Asset Management Ltd at The Monument Building, 11 Monument Street, London; rated on November 9

• Rated 5: Brasserie Blanc at 60 Threadneedle Street, London; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Caffe Nero at Kiosk Adjacent To Ticket Hall, The Arcade, Liverpool Street, London; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Crosstown at 9b Cullum Street, London; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: The Factory House at 10 Lime Street, London; rated on November 7

• Rated 5: Three Uncles at 3 Old Bailey, London; rated on November 7

• Rated 5: Indian City at 4 New Bridge Street, London; rated on October 24
