New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Beppes Cafe, at 23 West Smithfield, London was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 25.

And The Harrow, at The Harrow Public House, 22 Whitefriars Street, London was given a score of one on October 25.

It means that of City of London's 755 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 635 (84%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
