Food hygiene ratings handed to eight City of London establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of City of London’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: BaxterStorey, Goldman Sachs at 25 Shoe Lane, London; rated on July 28

• Rated 5: New St Warehouse at 16a New Street, London; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: Simpsons Tavern at Simpsons Tavern 38 And A Half, Cornhill, London; rated on July 21

• Rated 2: The India Restaurant at Retail Unit, 21 College Hill, London; rated on May 25

• Rated 1: Socialize at 5 Threadneedle Street, London; rated on June 29

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: BrewDog, Unit 3 at 50 Great Tower Street, London; rated on August 2

• Rated 5: Vagabond Wines at 51 Gracechurch Street, London; rated on August 2
