Food hygiene ratings given to two City of London restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafe Verona, at 80 Moorgate, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 27.

And Thai Square In The City, at Retail Unit, 136-138 Minories, London was given a score of three on April 28.

It means that of City of London's 823 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 713 (87%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
