A City of London takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Gourmet Kitchen, a takeaway at London Gateway Port Ltd (Dp World), 1 London Gateway Drive, Stanford Le Hope, Thurrock was given the score after assessment on December 8, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of City of London's 282 takeaways with ratings, 236 (84%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
