City of London restaurant handed new food hygiene rating

A City of London restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Smithfield Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Retail Unit, 59 Long Lane, London was given the score after assessment on August 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of City of London's 800 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 690 (86%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
