A City of London restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Cafe Gec, Northern & Shell Building, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 10 Lower Thames Street, London was given the maximum score after assessment on June 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of City of London's 766 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 655 (86%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
