Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to 13 Bromley establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 13 of Bromley’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to 10 restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Beckenham Curry Club at 4 Goodwood Parade, Upper Elmers End Road, Beckenham; rated on December 13

• Rated 5: Amrita Cafe @ Amrita Hall at BR2 ; rated on December 12

• Rated 5: Scarlett Vapes & Coffee Shop at 75 Beckenham Road, Beckenham; rated on December 12

• Rated 5: Tony's Cafe & Grill at 197 Southborough Lane, Bromley; rated on December 12

• Rated 5: Chatsworth Bakehouse at 120a Anerley Road, Penge, London; rated on December 8

• Rated 5: Costa at Unit 1a, Colman House, High Street, Penge; rated on December 8
