Good news as food hygiene ratings given to 14 Bromley establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of Bromley’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Texas Jacks at 238 High Street, Bromley; rated on June 7

• Rated 5: Pizza Express at 15 Widmore Road, Bromley; rated on June 5

• Rated 5: Trawlers Fish & Chips - Kebab & Burger at 10 Cranley Parade, Kimmeridge Road, Mottingham, London; rated on May 31

• Rated 5: East Street Coffee at 2 East Street, Bromley; rated on May 26

• Rated 5: Coffee Haven at 2 Walden Parade, Walden Road, Chislehurst; rated on May 22

• Rated 5: Cyprianis at 368 Crofton Road, Orpington; rated on May 22

• Rated 5: Caffe Nero at 164 High Street, Beckenham; rated on May 17

• Rated 5: Pizza Hut Delivery at 38 Glebe Way, West Wickham; rated on May 15
