Bromley road closures: two for motorists to avoid this week

Bromley's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M25, from 10pm October 3 to 5am October 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closure for urgent vegetation clerance.

• A20, from 10pm October 17 to 5.30am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 Critalls corner to junction 1, carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Local authorities.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
