Bromley road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week

Bromley's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

• A20, from 10pm March 14 to 5am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A20 both directions Upper Ruxley to Swanley, slip road closure and Lane closure for Horticultural works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A20, from 11pm March 17 to 5.30am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A20 eastbound, Sidcup Bypass to M20 eastbound, junction 1, Lane closures for drainage works.

• A20, from 10pm March 20 to 6am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 eastbound, Upper Ruxley to Swanley Interchange, carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via local authority roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
