Bromley road closures: three for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Bromley's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• A20, from 10pm October 9 to 5.30am October 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A20 westbound, junction 3 to Crittalls corner, Lane closure for drainage works.

• A20, from 10pm October 10 to 5am October 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 westbound, junction 1 to Crittalls Corner, Lane closures for horticultural works.

• A20, from 10pm October 16 to 6am October 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 westbound, M25 to Crittalls Corner, Lane and entry slip road closure for sign installation, diversion via local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
