Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to 15 Brent establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 15 of Brent’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Fifth Avenue Pizza at Unit 25, 87 Ealing Road, Wembley; rated on March 24

• Rated 5: Green Grill/ Chicken'ish at Unit 26/27, 87 Ealing Road, Wembley; rated on March 24

• Rated 5: Wings & Tings at Unit 19, 87 Ealing Road, Wembley; rated on March 24

• Rated 5: Nando's at 658-660 Kingsbury Road, London; rated on March 23

• Rated 5: Rubio at 43 Park Parade, London; rated on March 19

• Rated 5: Costa at 63 Cricklewood Broadway, London; rated on March 16

• Rated 5: KADIRI KITCHEN at 26 High Road, London; rated on March 12

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
