Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 10 Brent establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Brent’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Sudbury Cafe at 20 Watford Road, Wembley; rated on July 15

• Rated 5: Nest at Unit 3, Willesden Green Station, Walm Lane, London; rated on July 14

• Rated 5: Pizza on Demand at 239 High Road, London; rated on July 14

• Rated 5: Sabores at 81 Dudden Hill Lane, London; rated on July 14

• Rated 5: Yard Style at 91 Dudden Hill Lane, London; rated on July 14

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: The Island at 123 College Road, London; rated on July 16
