New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Brent’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Somstar Restaurant, at 146 High Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 16.

And Mazal 76 Mediterranean Kitchen, at 68 High Road, London was also given a score of four on August 15.

It means that of Brent's 521 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 353 (68%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
