Drivers in and around Bexley will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bexley will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are both are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A2, from 10pm September 25 to 5am September 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Dartford Heath, exit slip road and lane closures for drainage works, diversion via Darenth interchange and return.

A2, from 10pm October 9 to 5am October 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Dartford Heath to M25, junction 2, exit slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
