New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bexley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bindaas, at 195 Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 18.

And The Bookstore Cafe, at Erith Library, Walnut Tree Road, Erith, Kent was given a score of one on June 28.

It means that of Bexley's 318 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 191 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
