New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bexley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Onamika Restaurant, at 294 Erith Road, Bexleyheath, Kent was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 30.

And Hovis Bakeries Canteen, at Belmont Road, Erith, Kent was given a score of three on May 30.

It means that of Bexley's 319 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 197 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
