New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bexley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Penelopes Restaurant / Penelopes Farm Shop, at Water Lane, Sidcup, Kent was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And Richard's Cafe, at 1b Marechal Niel Parade, Main Road, Sidcup, Kent was also given a score of four on February 15.

It means that of Bexley's 325 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 200 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
