A Bexley takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Diya Chicken, a takeaway at 180 West Street, Erith, Kent was given the maximum score after assessment on December 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bexley's 203 takeaways with ratings, 84 (41%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
