Road closures: two for Barnet drivers this week

Drivers in and around Barnet will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M1, from 10pm June 13 to 5am June 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1, junction 4 to junction 2 southbound, carriageway closure for nearside drainage works, diversion via local authority networks.

• M1, from 10pm June 14 to 5am June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1, junction 3 to junction 1 southbound, carriageway for nearside drainage works, diversion via local authority networks.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
