Road closures: two for Barnet drivers this week

Drivers in and around Barnet will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Barnet will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M1, from 10pm April 13 to 5am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for CCTV works.

• A1, from 10pm April 19 to 5am April 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A1M northbound, junction 1 -, junction 3, carriageway and slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
