Road closures: two for Barnet drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Barnet will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are both are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M1, from 10pm July 10 to 5.30am July 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closures structural works, diversion via A406 entry slip.

• M1, from 10pm July 10 to 6am July 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 5 to junction 1, carriageway and lane closure for surfacing works, diversion via Local authorities.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
