The Care Quality Commission gives ratings to care providers and other organisations across England. It rates how well the service is performing against various criteria – with overall rankings ranging from 'outstanding' to 'inadequate'.

Information from the CQC reveals two services in Barnet have received ratings from the start of December.

Home Instead Barnet was awarded a 'good' rating after an inspection on November 16. The rating was published on December 21.

On December 30, Selig Court was also judged to be 'good'. The service had last been inspected on December 19.

A 'good' score means the provider is meeting expectations.
