Road closures: two for Barking and Dagenham drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Barking and Dagenham will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm January 4 to 5am January 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repairs.

• M25, from 11pm January 12 to 5.30am January 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28 to junction 27, Lane closure for CAT1 carriageway repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
