New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Barking and Dagenham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Blanca Lounge N Shisha at 464a Lodge Avenue, Dagenham; rated on December 18

• Rated 5: Spice Hut at 227 Oxlow Lane, Dagenham; rated on December 18

Takeaways

And two ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 5: Charcoal Grill Hut & Pizzeria Di Roma at 161 Broad Street, Dagenham; rated on December 16

• Rated 5: Mr Wong Chinese at 460 Becontree Avenue, Dagenham; rated on December 15
