New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Burger Trap, at Unit 3 Genoa Building, 16 North Street, Barking was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 17.

And London Pizza Depot, at 6 Reede Road, Dagenham was also given a score of five on April 17.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 205 takeaways with ratings, 74 (36%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
