New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Fish Inn, at 204 Ripple Road, Barking was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 21.

And Golden Dragon, at 202 Ripple Road, Barking was given a score of three on September 21.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 213 takeaways with ratings, 94 (44%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
