New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Deans Peri Peri, at 3 Station Parade, Heathway, Dagenham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 17.

And Pizza Franco, at 440 Lodge Avenue, Dagenham was given a score of two on March 6.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 202 takeaways with ratings, 74 (37%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
