New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bayleaf, at 616 Longbridge Road, Dagenham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 5.

And Gah Moon House Take Away, at 72 Church Street, Dagenham was given a score of one on October 5.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 213 takeaways with ratings, 93 (44%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
