New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Atlantic Fish Bar, at 19 Farr Avenue, Barking was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 18.

And Greedy Panda, at 8 Farr Avenue, Barking was also given a score of four on September 18.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 213 takeaways with ratings, 96 (45%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
