Food hygiene ratings given to two Barking and Dagenham takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Empire Chinese Take Away, at 159 Chelmer Crescent, Barking was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 8.

And Chung Wah, at 61 Roycraft Avenue, Barking was given a score of one on June 8.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 203 takeaways with ratings, 80 (39%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
