New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Kebabish Original, at 95 Longbridge Road, Barking was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 28.

And Friendship, at 802 Green Lane, Dagenham was given a score of three on May 28.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 202 takeaways with ratings, 80 (40%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
